DJI Mavic 3 Pro and Pro Cine: Three-Camera System
DJI has announced their latest models in the Mavic 3 series line-up. The Pro and Pro Cine are the first drones in the world to feature a three-camera lens array.
Three Cameras
24mm (Main Camera)
The main camera on the Mavic 3 Pro is the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) technology 20MP Four thirds with 24mm focal length with a variable F2.8-11 aperture. It can record footage up to 5.1K or 4K.
70mm
Has a 10 x 7.5mm CMOS sensor that can capture both 48MP and 12MP photos with the ability to zoom in on subjects up to 3X optically. The 70mm can record up to 4K video.
166mm
The long telephoto 166mm lens features a 6.4 x 5.8mm sensor with a fixed aperture of F3.4. The camera can capture 12MP photos, and up to 4K video, and has a 7x optical and 28x hybrid zoom, switching between cameras automatically.
Drone Specifications
The Mavic 3 Pro can remain airborne for up to 43 minutes which is less than 46 minutes of the original Mavic 3 model due to its slightly larger frame and heavier camera module. The drone features eight wide-angle sensors for Advanced Pilot Assistance System (APAS 5.0) omnidirectional obstacle detection and avoidance.
The DJI’s O3+ (OcuSync) transmits a 1080p HD live feed at a distance of up to 9.32 miles (15 km). Features such as the Waypoint Flight, which follows pre-determined waypoints, and Cruise Control, which allows you to set a direction and flat speed for long flights, are included in the Pro and Pro Cine. Intelligent automated flight modes found on other Mavic 3 series drones such as MasterShots, Spotlight, Point of Interest, ActiveTrack 5.0, and QuickShots are also available on Mavic 3 Pro.
Price
The DJI Mavic 3 Pro’s starting price is £1,879 and the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine Premium Combo starts at £4,109.
