It has been four years since Elon Musk announced the Cybertruck concept to the world. Tesla delivered its long-awaited Cybertruck to the first customers in late November. The delivery of the Cybertruck marks a significant milestone as they enter the pickup truck market.

Features

The Cybertruck features a steer-by-wire technology that allows steering wheel responsiveness for more nimble driving. The truck has rear-wheel steering that will allow the large truck to fit into tight spaces.

The Cybertruck is made from ultra-hard stainless steel that will lead to fewer dents, less corrosion from weather, and easy repair due to the lack of paint. The truck features shatter-resistant windows that can withstand a baseball which Tesla was keen to demonstrate in their demo.

In the back of the truck, it features a 6’4’ bed that has room for 67 cubic feet of equipment that is stored underneath a locking cover with a max payload of 1,133kg. Customers also have an option to have an extra battery pack to extend the truck’s range. The bed also has power outlets to power tools or camping equipment.

The interiors feature a 9.4” touchscreen for rear-seat passengers and an 18.5-inch touchscreen that is mounted horizontally in the centre of the dashboard. The truck can seat up to six people. The Cybertruck will feature hand-free Autopilot and other driver-assistance technology found in other Tesla models.
