8 Movie Gadgets That I Wish Were Real
Movies often show out-of-the-world technologies that could be real however aren’t. Here are a list of movie gadgets that I wish existed in real life.
Medbays – Elysium
In Elysium, they feature a medbay that could cure any sickness or disease when the patient is laying on the bed. It will diagnosis the symptom before fixing it. This invention would change the world in terms of the medical industry; however, would it be limited to the rich as it was in the film.
Jarvis – Ironman
In the film Ironman, Jarvis is an important tool for Tony Stark that assists him in planning and running simulations for his experiments. AI is slowly becoming more intelligent and advanced. If AI can be as intelligent as Jarvis then the more complicated and long-running tasks can be done via AI.
Neuralyzer – Men in Black
Is there something you wished you had never told? Maybe the neuralyzer would be handy as this device wipes the memories of individuals. Imagine secrets would remain a secret, or moments which you were embarrassed about or people have seen, this device would wipe it out and eliminate the risk of being reminded.
Universal Translator – Star Trek
In Star Trek it features a universal translator that translates any language in real time, this would be great when communicating with individuals from different countries and help the awkward moment when they think you mean kill the chicken but you mean you want it alive (Rush Hour 2 scene).
Crime Predictor – Minority Report
Predicting crime would definitely help with law enforcement and predicting crime before they happen would shorten the response time and prevent a crime that would harm thousands of civilians like terrorism.
Electromagnetic Climbing Gloves – Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol
The electromagnet gloves featured in Mission Impossible would be great for construction when fixing skyscrapers, boats or aeroplanes. Hopefully, they wouldn’t glitch out as they did in the film.
